This is great shielding tape; the adhesive is conductive, so block out noise from things to your heart's content. I had enough to fill a 3x2x5 project box, coat the cavity covers for a Les Paul guitar, and fill the cavities of my P-bass clone with some left over. I also gave myself a papercut; not sure if that happened on the tape or the very rigid backing paper, but I suppose my advice would be to be less of a klutz than that.
