Gorilla Tape has taken duct tape to a new level. This double thick adhesive tape surpasses ordinary duct tapes, making the list of uses virtually endless. Made with double thick adhesive, strong reinforced backing, and a tough all-weather shell, it’s the biggest, strongest, toughest thing ever to happen to duct tape. Gorilla Tape is manufactured with a highly concentrated rubber based adhesive – two to three times as thick as traditional duct tape. The result is a tape that fills gaps and penetrates rough surfaces. It sticks to rough and uneven surfaces, including wood, stone, stucco and brick, that ordinary duct tapes can't hold. To us, it’s made the way tape should be: The Toughest on Planet Earth. Directions: Use like any other tape. Tear Gorilla Tape by hand or cut to size with a knife or scissors. It is important to clean the surface and brush off any loose particles and dirt before applying Gorilla Tape. Apply the tape carefully, smoothing out any pockets or rolls. That’s it. Enjoy the strength and durability of Gorilla Tape! To retain adhesive quality, store Gorilla Tape in a cool, dry place. Keep out of direct sunlight. Try storing the tape vertically (rather than laying flat), on a hook or on wax paper. If you have multiple rolls, keep your excess supply wrapped until they’re needed. Gorilla Tape works best at temperatures above 32°F (0°C). For best results, always apply the tape at room temperature. If Gorilla Tape freezes, it will work just fine once it returns to room temperature. Gorilla Tape can be removed, but with some difficulty and it may leave some residue. To remove any excess residue, we recommend using the tape itself as a blotter. Gorilla Tape should not be used as an electrical tape. We’ve found that Gorilla Tape will last a lot longer than regular duct tapes when it comes in contact with moisture. There are times when simple duct tape, while special in its own right, is probably not sturdy enough, or thick enough for what you need to do. You might have considered maybe even putting on a couple layers. Instead, definitely get this Gorilla tape !!!! I have an Intex pool.....the kind with the frame.....and it's been baking in the sun for years. Some portions...not underwater...have shown a lot of UV damage and I was afraid they might soon start to split. Initially I thought covering them with duct tape would at least help protect them and maybe keep them held together longer. But I was afraid it would look a little trashy....the way repairs with duct tape often due. So I was excited when I saw the reviews for the Gorilla tape. I was not disappointed. It is visibly thicker than duct tape.....by a lot. That has its pros and cons. There is, of course, a lot less actual length of tape on a roll. And depending on what you are using it for, you may not like the extra thickness. But if you need something a lot more sturdy, then this is it. To be honest, it actually looked not too different from vinyl and did not make my pool look at all trashy. In fact, it improved the appearance. Some reviews stated the white was not sticky, but I used the white and it was SUPER SUPER sticky. When it got stuck on my hand, it really required some gentle tugging to get it off. I can't speak to the longevity of it......but right now I am very pleased. If you are looking for extra super thick, very sticky duct tape....this is the tape for you.I love that they make white tape! We recently bought a white mesh magnetic screen for our back door and the dog gets impatient when we don’t let him inside fast enough. He like to bite the screen. Well we bought this tape to fix the hole he put in it. It’s perfect. Looks like it belongs there. Holds up nicely with the outside weather. Had a few storms and still sticking.If you ever asked yourself: "Man, I wished they made super glue but, in a duct tape form".. Your prayers have been answered. The tape peels off when it gets too warm. My assumption is that this was duct tape which is not supposed to do that.
