Ever buy a shower curtain, or curtains for that matter, and then you didn’t measure where you installed the rod? I’ve lined up 84” curtains (silver) with the curtain that is too long. (How do you like the binder clips to hold the two in place?)I am not sure ? if the sticky tape can be ironed or washed. (Not that this bachelorette owns an iron in the first place). I think steaming is going to be the preferred route anyway: just too much material to manage over my ironing board sans the iron. (lol)Was this easy to use? It sure was.Is it stiff? It is rigid tape. It’s almost like taking masking tape, layering about 10 times I like the rigidity, if that’s the question.Is it sticky? It adheres to this cotton curtain. I did get the material crinkled since I used NOTHING to measure or pin the material together. Most seamstresses would have measured, ironed, pinned and re-ironed. (I am more of a comedienne than a seamstress.). When I straightened the material out, lifted it and re-laid it, there was no issue. I simply ran my hands along the tape—pressing it so that it would adhere to the fibers.I painted my wood rod—of course, I’d do that—but it hasn’t dried yet. It should work —because I know I measured that to be “even steven” — at the wrong height. I like to think of it as the curtains were bought mistakenly. (Grin.). Otherwise I’d have supplied a “this is how the product looks with curtains” picture.Versatility. I wanted this product for curtains—not for clothing. In a bind, I’m sure wedding planners bring this product (or similar) on the day of weddings. The color is mustard, and from a manufacturing point of view, I know that offering multiple colors will create a higher price point. Also, I suspect that the “adhesive” is a yellow.I can come back and update this when the curtain is hung. Frankly, Amazon no longer sends messages “your review” has posted. I forget about it…process for approval takes too long…longer than this project for sure.Give this tape a try. I like nifty hacks that work and don’t require *gasp* a sewing machine. :)
